Gender Economics

This course will give students an understanding of the main research topics in Gender Economics. We will discuss gender gaps in wages, promotions and work conditions. We will also discuss theories on the origins of these gender gaps. The last lecture(s) will target policies that can potentially affect gender inequalities in the labor market, and will include a student debate about the merits of gender quotas.
