Nordic Public Policy Symposium

On 19 - 20 December, a conference focusing on Nordic research in public economics is being organized. The keynote speaker is Henrik Kleven from Princeton University

The NPPS is an annual event, rotating across the Nordic countries. The first symposium took place last year at Stockholm University.

The goal of the symposium is to provide a forum for high-quality work on public policy for researchers who have a connection to the Nordic region. This means either being based in a Nordic country or working with data from the Nordic countries.

The event provides an opportunity for researchers to discuss their work and develop new collaborations and relationships. It also provides an opportunity for young researchers to meet and discuss their work with senior economists.

Paper proposals are invited in any area of public policy / public economics, broadly defined. We are reserving some presentation opportunities for junior researchers who are planning to go on the job market soon. The symposium will also include a poster session for PhD students. To secure an intimate atmosphere, we limit the total number of participants to forty persons.

Participation by invitation only.
