Economists ignite U.S. debate on inequality and redistribution
Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman from University of California, Berkeley have ignited the debate on inequality in the U.S. with their new book “The Triump of Injustice”. In the Danish newspaper Information, Simon Halphen Boserup explains the debate and why other U.S. economists are critical of their claims that tax progressivity in America has declined steeply over the last five decades.
