Data
REALM utilizes different data sources to get a deeper insight into the functioning and development of the labour market in Myanmar. Below we provide links to the project from which we source our data:
- Enterprises – Myanmar Enterprise Monitoring System (MEMS). Data collected by DERG at University of Copenhagen in collaboration with the Central Statistical Organization (CSO) and supported by UNU-WIDER. Details on the project can be found at "Towards inclusive development in Myanmar"
- Workers – Labour Force Survey (LFS). Data collected by ILO and the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population (MOLIP)
- Households – Myanmar Living Conditions Survey (MLCS). The MLCS is a large-scale multi-topic living conditions survey implemented by the Central Statistical Organization (CSO) in collaboration with the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Details and documentation can be found at "CSO survey reports"
