New Master of Science (MSc) in Global Development
Globalisation has radically changed the way people live all over the world. Massive economic growth in the emerging markets and other economies has lifted billions of people out of poverty while many continue to live in poor conditions. The MSc in Global Development provides graduates with the qualifications required to understand, analyse and act in this new and globalised world.
The MSc in Global Development at the University of Copenhagen is a two-year degree programme taught in English. The first year comprises six compulsory courses followed by a field course in a low or middle-income country. During the second year students are free to compose their study programme as they wish, ending with a master’s thesis.
The programme is offered in English.
